I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers. - Claude Monet
Fall Blossom 2011
FALL BLOSSOM 2011
This necklace is made on wire that wraps around your neck and lays softly. The flowers are a combination of yellow and mellon colored hibiscus with the Lewis Wilson boro focal bead picking up the colors. The flowers and leaves are weaved into the wire neck piece with a soft wire and holds the arrangement perfectly. I will be creating more necklaces using the wire because it is a cross between traditional jewelry and my sculpture work.

Who would have thought it possible that a tiny little flower could preoccupy a person so completely that there simply wasn't room for any other thought.... - Sophie Scholl
